Bleep blorp bloop. It's that time of the week (sort of) when I regale you with tales of all the excellent content that you missed out on AppSpy last week. And there's just so much. So much.

If you don't know about AppSpy, it's Pocket Gamer's sister site. We focus on all things iOS, but sometimes run away on crazy tangents, because that's a lot more fun than keeping on track. Tracks are for race cars.

Anyway, here's a round-up of some of the best words we put up last week. And when I say we, I mean I. Because it's just me, all on my own out there, smashing out the sort of thing you just don't get anywhere else.

Gotta get down on Monday

We started the week out wondering what other games deserve their own special day, in recognition of Pokemon Day.

We even made suggestions as to what those days should entail. It's all just a bit of fun though, I don't really think we need a Purge-style event every year.

On Tuesday we had a nice long look at Battle Breakers, the upcoming casual RPG from Epic. Did we like it? Well you're going to have to mash that link and find out, I'm not telling you here, jeez.

Gotta get down on Tuesday

We also looked at three of the best Facebook Messenger games. One of them is Snake, because I love Snake.

Maybe you love Snake too? Click on the link and have a nosy then.

Come Thursday we threw out our traditional Thursday Find. Last week it was the really rather good Breakforcist. Because puns and waffles.

Don't get down on Friday

By the end of the week we were all ready for a nice snooze. So Friday saw a round-up of the very best iPad and iPhone games that came out recently.

And to round things off we had one of our customary fights. The Switch vs the iPhone for the title of best portable gaming device. The winner might cause you some consternation.

Well that's enough for now. If you enjoyed what you saw up there, then why not consider wandering over to AppSpy from time to time to see what's going on. We don't bite. Well, not too hard anyway.

Harry used to be really good at Snake on the Nokia 5110. Apparently though, digital snake wrangling isn't a proper job, so now he writes words about games instead.
