Finnish developer Rovio has partnered with McDonald's China to launch an all-new location-based promotional Angry Birds campaign.

Through this promotion, gamers can unlock exclusive game modes, stages, and power-ups while they wolf down a Big Mac in their local branch of the fast food giant.

Players can also vote on which branch of McDonald's they'd like to see adorned with a large oversized slingshot. Yep, the slingshot will be attached to the chain's iconic Golden Arches.

"We're delighted about this exciting new initiative in China," Christine Xu, McDonald's China VP of marketing, said.

"Both McDonald's and Rovio are brands that are very focused on their customers, wanting to constantly bring them better and more engaging experiences, and that's what brought us together."
