In a new teaser trailer (posted below), it has been confirmed that Angry Birds Space will launch on Samsung's Galaxy Note.

Angry Birds creator Rovio has joined forces with handset manufacturer Samsung to co-promote the latter's new "smart mobile devices" and the former's upcoming space-based adventure.

We already knew that Angry Birds Space will take flight on March 22nd, but the news that it will launch on Samsung's four-month-old tablet/smartphone hybrid has come as a slight surprise.

Samsung has also confirmed overnight that Galaxy Note owners can look forward to exclusive Angry Birds Space content when the game lands next month.

T-minus four weeks

Angry Birds Space will be the fourth proper incarnation in the series, and will mark the first time the rage-fuelled avians have left earth's atmosphere, so prepare yourself for floaty physics and something called "lightspeed destruction". Sounds painful.

Check out the trailer below to witness the interplanetary announcement for yourself.
