The absolutely stunning endless runner Alto's Odyssey slides onto Android next week

If you're a mobile gamer and haven't heard of the Alto series I don't really know how you've missed out, but I'm sad you have. Either which way the latest game, Alto's Odyssey, is finally coming to Android on July 26th and you can pre-register for it over on Google Play now.
Alto's Odyssey is an atmospheric runner where you'll again be playing as Alto. Unlike his time in the mountains, however, you'll be accompanying him across a striking desert landscape. You'll surf down dunes, ride updrafts, discover hidden temples, wallride, and more.
In its review we gave it Pocket Gamer's Gold Award, saying: "There's something playfully mesmeric about Alto's Odyssey. At its very best, when you're flowing through its dunes and ruins, there's a sense of connection that few other games on the App Store can manage to foster."
Though it's not been fully confirmed just yet, this recent article with Ryan Cash on The Verge suggests that the Android version might well be free to play after the success of Alto's Adventure.
