The Respawnables developer gives Afterpulse a new lease of life
Major update coming this Halloween
The acclaimed third-person shooter Afterpulse is set to get its first major update in over a year, and it's headed our way this Halloween.
The spooky-sounding Nightcrawler-Dread Season introduces a co-op mode, where players will have to band together in order to take on an increasingly tricky onslaught of Nightcrawlers.
The game, a previous App Store Editor's Choice winner, released to much critical acclaim. We reviewed it back in 2015, praising it at the time for its elegant controls and enjoyable gunplay.
Last year, Afterpulse was resurrected with The Respawnables' Digital Legends set to take charge. Ever since, the developer has been spending its time collecting player feedback in order to make the game the best that it can be.
This new update is just the start of a new journey for the game, with many more improvements and additions set to release over time.
So, if you're in the market for some Halloween-themed shooty bang bang action, then Afterpulse surely has you covered. You can nab it for free on both the App Store and Google Play, so everyone can have a go at slaying those pesky Nightcrawlers.
