This two-time participant in Pocket Gamer's Big Indie Pitch is a promising, and pretty cute, puzzler. It's not out just yet, but we've all the info you need to know about AcroSplat right here.

What's it all about?

AcroSplat is a neat puzzler about teeny little paint blobs that set out to join the circus. Their journey isn't a simple one though - they're faced with impassable walls and totally harmless things like spikes and buzzsaws.

The aim of the game is to get your blob into the paint can at the end of each level.

Is it hard to play?

Not in the least. The Angry Birds-style control let you twang your paint blobs around. Pull to aim and release to fire. Simples.

That doesn't sound very challenging. What's the catch?

Aha, you got me. Its controls are super simple, but the gameplay is where the fun comes in.

Not only do you have to traverse the levels with a steady finger, there are also some colour-based challenges to solve.

Sometimes the only way to complete the level is by mixing your blobs to match the colour of the paint can at the end, so try to remember your art lessons.

Okay, but what happens once you finish the game?

With over 100 levels to enjoy you may have a little while to go before you complete the game, but there's still fun to be had once you're done.

Thanks to AcroSplat's fully-fledged level editor you can enjoy making your own devious creations long after you've put the final Story Mode level to bed.

What's more you can share your dastardly challenges online, and play other gamer's levels as well.

Of course, you don't have to wait until the very end to make use of the level editor, but the more you play in Story Mode, the more components you'll unlock to mess around with.

When can you get it and where from?

AcroSplat comes out on March 9th 2017, and will be available on the App Store, for iPad and iPhone, and on Google Play for Android devices.
