Inkle Studios has just tweeted an image that all but confirms that the Gold Award-winning 80 Days will be coming to Android shortly.
The image seems to be a screenshot from the game that reads: "London, 1872. I have entered into the service of a new gentleman. It would seem..."
Judging by the icons around the edges of the screen this "new gentleman" is Android tablets and phones.
80 Days is a choose your own adventure book set in a steampunk 19th century that we called a "sharp, wonderfully written adventure".
You play as Phileas Fogg's manservant Passepartout as he attempts to race around the world in 80 days by any means of transport possible.
It's a wacky, unique adventure with a lot of character and exquisite writing.
The iOS version is available on the App Store [buy] right now for £2.99 / $4.99. So, presumably, the Android version will be sold at the same price.
We'll update you when we hear of a release date for the Android version of 80 Days.
