Revel is free to install and play! After you install the app, you complete a brief onboarding experience during which you receive a “starter pack” and some $R, or “Revel Dollars,” and complete a trade with another user. Afterward, you are able to mint your first collection. Select some photos, images, or videos that are either personally meaningful to you or somehow express your identity. Alternatively, you can use Revel’s integration with Stable Diffusion, an AI-powered image generation tool, to quickly and easily create never-before-seen images. It’s surprisingly intuitive and the results are often stunning! Once you mint your first collection, you’ll see your “net worth” on the platform increase and you’re better equipped to begin trading with other players.

How do you earn revenue with Revel.xyz?

You don't have to be an artist or professional creator to earn from trading in the marketplace - with Revel, anyone can begin earning revenue as you establish and expand your digital identity on the platform.

Simply being a collector will already help you grow your net worth on Revel. Once you spot something you like from a creator you follow, you can make an offer to obtain it. You may recognize and trade for an undervalued asset that will gain value over time as the up-and-coming creator gains a following. You can also try to collect a series consisting of three assets from the same user with Unique, Rare, and Common rarities. When you complete a set, you will permanently receive “harvest,” or bonus assets, each time that creator mints a new collection. This is your passive income on the platform.

As a creator, you can mint awesome content that appeals to collectors, creating demand for your assets and increasing their value in the marketplace. “Unique” indicates that there's only one, “Rares” are a minimum of 5 editions (or copies), while “Common” assets number at least 10. When a collector completes a set of your assets, you can mint another Collection, increasing your net worth and giving you more collateral for future trades.

Within the system explained above, supplies of each creator's assets are regulated via “proof-of-demand” minting, limiting inflation within the Revel economy–creators cannot mint more assets unless their previous assets have been collected and locked into Series by other users.
