Pocket Gamer is looking for a writer in the UK with experience, enthusiasm, and a high degree of grammatical pedantry to be our eyes and ears in the virtual world.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an interest in VR and emerging technologies as well as a willingness to attend events, maintain good contacts within the industry, and dedicate themselves to the full mastery of the business and pleasure of VR gaming.

This is a new role and precise details of the workload are still to be determined, but it will almost certainly involve writing game impressions, features, and news stories on Pocket Gamer and its sister site PocketGamer.biz, and creating video content.

It will also involve putting funny blindfold-like gizmos on your head and waving your arms around, frequently on camera.

This is a part-time role, so it would probably suit you best if you're a freelancer looking to fill your schedule.

If that sounds like the sort of thing you might be into then email your CV and covering letter to [email protected].
