 ANDROID WEAR NEWS - UPDATE

Silver Award-winning Ingress now lets you hack portals from your Android Wear

Time to get hacking

Summary News Review Screens Videos Articles Tips
Product: Ingress | Publisher: Niantic Labs | Genre: Location- based
For: Android Wear   Also on: Android, iPhone, iPad

Cyber-hacking ARG Ingress has just added support for Android Wear, so now you can get your sneaky sci-fi hacking action direct from your wrist.

The added features allow you to hack portals and collect XM direct from you smart watch, making it even easier to control territories.

For those who don't know, Ingress is an augmented-reality game that turns the real world into a sci-fi battlefield using a modified Google Maps.

Our reviewer rather enjoyed it, saying that "If you're willing to put significant work in, the game will reward you," and giving it our Silver Award.

If you've not already got it, you can nab it for free from Google Play. There's an iOS version available too, but it doesn't look like the Apple Watch is being supported yet.
