Studio X to publish America's Got Talent on mobile

Piers Morgan and The Hoff get in on gameshow adaptation

Studio X to publish America's Got Talent on mobile

In a brand new deal with FreemantleMedia, Studio X, the publishing division of mobile game developer Player X, has landed the rights to bring the US summer TV sensation America's Got Talent to mobile phones.

Player X is no stranger to gameshow adaptations, of course, with Family Fortunes, The Price is Right, Sale of the Century and Blockbusters conversions already under its gaming belt.

While the title of the America's Got Talent TV show might come under scrutiny from trade's descriptions, the pocket gaming adaptation is set to feature many of the big names already attached to the programme. The Hoff, Sharon Osborne, Jerry Springer and Piers Morgan are all pegged to make a micro-screen appearance.

"We are delighted to be working with FME again on one of their top-rated gameshows after our previous collaborations in Europe on Family Fortunes and The Price is Right," said Tony Pearce, CEO of Player X. "America's Got Talent is a phenomenon and we're confident the casual game we have published will be similarly successful."

Hit 'Track It!' now to find out if the title is really true.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
