iPhone shooter Alive 4-ever RETURNS: new screens and video

Meridean Digital Entertainment has announced that it will be releasing a sequel to their hit App Alive 4-ever, assertively entitled Alive 4-ever RETURNS.

Utilising a brand new engine, the game improves on its predecessor visually and with new levels, new enemies, and bigger weapons.

Some numbers: 18 types of Zombie, 37 different weapons, 13 skills to acquire, 40 stages. You get the idea.

Perhaps more interestingly, RETURNS develops the first game’s RPG elements, and factors in two new modes of play: Survival Battle and Horde Battle.

Of course, four player co-op remains, distilling a little of the Left4Dead experience into your palm.

The game is scheduled for release at the end of April, but until then have a look at the screenshots and new video.
