Aces Mahjong release for smartphones

Concrete Software has announced the latest game in its Aces range of smartphone software, Aces Mahjong.

Following on from Aces Solitaire and Aces Texas Hold 'Em, this latest adaptation of the ancient Chinese dominoes game features 50 different layouts for the popular tile matching puzzle game.

Often enough, solitaire Mahjong has failed to translate to the mobile due to players being unable to differentiate between the miniature tiles, but judging by the screenshots Aces Mahjong manages to get around that problem using its unique layouts; reducing the number of tiles on screen and keeping visibility at the fore.

There's also a rumour of a WinMo version, but details are thin at the moment. Swing by the Concrete Software website for more info, and don't forget to hit the 'Track It!' button as you pass.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
