Dashy Crashy dev looks to bring tiny racing cars to AR with untitled new game

Dumpling Design, the studio behind the popular racer Dashy Crashy, is hard at work on a new augmented reality racing game which aims to let you race around your living room and leave your friends in the dust.

There's very few details yet, but the game is basically an answer to the question "what if Dashy Crashy were in AR and had multiplayer?" So far the answer seems to be "it would look pretty neat," if the short video below is any indication.

It may not look like much now, but Dumpling is suggesting that user-created tracks will make an appearance, and you might even get to tune your tiny cars to best your friends with.

The original Dashy Crashy, you may remember, is an endless runner full of bright colours and enormous car crashes, and it even got an upgrade to a Turbo edition just over a year ago.

Hopefully the AR game will eventually be able to bring the same bright, playful visuals of Dashy Crashy to life. For now, though, we'll keep our ear to the ground and update if any more rumblings are heard on the game.
