AMF Bowling gets a Deluxe makeover on mobile

Test your pin-skittling skills online with Superscape's new game

AMF Bowling gets a Deluxe makeover on mobile

Today's story to make us jealous of US mobile gamers concerns AMF Bowling Deluxe 3D, which has just been released over there by Superscape.

It's a revamped version of the publisher's existing AMF Xtreme Bowling game, with spangly 3D graphics and an online multiplayer mode.

The game starts with three characters to play; three more can be unlocked through the game's AMF World Cup mode. There's also a host of lanes to bowl in, with, again, more unlocked as you play through the game.

There's four single-player modes, including QuickPlay, Tournament, Duckpin and Precision (we assume those last two will make sense if you're a ten-pin geek). But most exciting is the online multiplayer mode, which sees you bowling ten frames against another player, with your performance filtering into a global rankings table. You're even able to send taunts as you play.

Developer Vir2L Studios says it's rejigged the controls too, which are one-button now for greatest ease of use.

As we said, the game is out now in the US, but hopefully it'll come to Europe soon, to give Gameloft's great-but-not-online Midnight Bowling 3D a run for its money.
