Big Fish builds out its iPad releases with A Witch's Curse: Princess Isabella

With tablets a key focus of US social games publisher Big Fish, it's marking out its territory in terms of new hidden object and puzzle games for iPad.

It's released three titles in April so far, with the most recent being A Witch's Curse: Princess Isabella, one of the first games the Big Fish has distributed as part of its deal with casual publisher Gogii Games.

Look harder

It's a typical hidden object game that has you working your way through 135 scenes in a cursed castle; picking up mirror fragments, finding specified items and collecting them so you can unlock the next part of the story, as well as dealing with 15 mini-games such as cog puzzles.

Like most Big Fish games, it's free to download so you can play the opening levels and get a feel for the experience, with an in-app purchase of £4.99, €3.99 or £2.99 required to unlock the full game.

The other two games released earlier in April were Ers Game Studios' grotesquely appealing Puppet Show: Mystery of Joyville, and underwater puzzler (there's a hint of BioShock in the setting at least) Empress of the Deep: The Darkest Secret.

Both of these game are free, also fully unlockable for £4.99, €3.99 or £2.99 as an in-app purchase.
