Nokia announces the 7230 with on-board Facebook and Flickr
Social networking goodness for under £100
While the N900 might be swallowing up the lion’s share of attention in the world of Nokia at present, the company is nevertheless making a moderate amount of noise about another new addition to its line-up.
The 7230 is due out in March 2010 and on the surface appears to be a fairly standard effort: it’s got a sliding form factor, 3.2 megapixel snapper and a microSD slot complete with a 2GB card.
However, what sets the device apart is the pre-installed applications. The 7230 comes loaded with Facebook and Flickr support, allowing you to keep tabs on your social networking activities. What’s more, it’s also compatible with Nokia’s Ovi service.
If this all sounds highly intriguing then keep an eye out early next year. The 7230 is expected to retail for £90 SIM-free, so it’s not likely to break the bank either.
