4x4 Monster Trucks rumbles onto phones
Micazook's 3D racer lets you mix it with the big boys
Let's be honest: Formula One is basically rubbish when compared to a bunch of bloody great trucks racing off-road. Let's see Lewis Hamilton maintain his golden-boy status in that kind of event, eh?
Micazook agrees. Well, at least, the developer has shunned F1 in favour of creating 4x4 Monster Trucks. It's a racer using its own Blade 3D engine, and sees you driving said trucks at high speeds across forest, desert and arctic courses.
The game has six different trucks to drive, and three specific gameplay modes: Time Attack, Championship and Arcade. The first has you racing ten tracks against the clock, the second unlocks new opponents whenever you win a race, and the third is a succession of events over random tracks.
You have free reign to find the quickest route to the finish line and along the way you must watch your fuel consumption, picking up extra fuel power-ups to keep your truck on the... well, not on the road, but you know what we mean.
Oh, and better still, you get to honk horns at sheep to make them move out of the way – a feature that pretty much every other mobile driving game could benefit from.
