Play.com dates Dragon Ball 3DS as a November 2010 release

In keeping with the current fashion for putting release dates up about the 3DS to annoy Nintendo, Play.com has just dated two games from the Namco Bandai stable, putting Gundam down for March 2011 and Dragon ball for ‘19/11/2010’.

If this date isn’t another example of ‘making stuff up’, as professionally demonstrated by Dutch online retailer Bart Smit last week, it means that the 3DS could be a pre-Christmas release after all.

We spoke on the phone to a customer representative from Play.com who told Pocket Gamer that the site only posts dates for products up once they have them confirmed from the supplier, which is probably the reason why only the two Namco games have dates while the 3DS itself remains ‘undated’.

We’re currently awaiting a reply from Namco on the subject, but we’ll keep you posted on any further developments to this story.
