It's Thanksgiving week for Americans, so they have a ton of spare time to devote to the wonderful Crashmo, a.k.a. Fallblox, this week.

As for we Europeans, well, we've got an intriguing-looking pixel-hunting game to get stuck into.

Oh, and a game about dressing up witches.

Well, you can't win them all, right?

Here are this week's top new picks for the 3DS.

European eShop releases

The aforementioned pixel-hunting game is rather appropriately called PIX3D, and it will set you back £3.59.

Pixels are spread out all over the place in this title. No, seriously. It's your job to form neat little pixellated images. Cute.

Did I say 'cute'? Well, not as cute as Dress To Play: Cute Witches!, I imagine. This £3.59 game invites you to, well, have a guess.

Somewhat oddly, Pilotwings Resort is now out as a downloadable title, a full 18 months after the boxed version was released.

Back then, I said, "As far as 3DS launch titles go, this is definitely one to consider, but don't expect to leave it plugged into your 3DS for more than a few hours."

For £39.99, I would suggest you steer extremely clear. Pick it up from the bargain bin at your local video game store instead.

As per usual, New Art Academy has some new DLC available, in the form of Drawing Birds and Illumination. If that's your cup of tea, go for it.

US eShop releases

Crashmo, anyone? We gave this a mighty Gold Award earlier this month on account of it being, well, a ruddy good game an' all. Just like its predecessor, Pushmo (a.k.a. Pullblox).

Crashmo will cost you $8.99. In it, you have to push blocks around to create a pathway you can jump up to reach a stranded bird. It's ace. Trust me.

You like the Japanese tile puzzle game Mahjong, right? How about a 3D version of it? 3D MahJongg is... well, I feel like I've explained it already.

There's a new game available for the Virtual Console, too. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is the side-scrolling Zelda game that divides opinion. If you haven't played it, it's well worth a go for $4.99.

That's your lot. Back again next week, folks. Same place, same channel, different games. I hope.
