Renowned Japanese game developer Treasure is currently working on a 3DS exclusive

Japanese developer Treasure has revealed that it is hard at work on a new action game that will be exclusive to the 3DS.

The dev, which has given us Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning titles like Bangai-O Spirits and Bleach: Dark Souls, spilled the beans on its latest game in an interview with gamesTM magazine.

Treasure CEO Masato Maegawa had this to say on his company's current project: "We are making a new game on Nintendo 3DS now. Not multiplatform, but exclusive to 3DS."

Maegawa also confirmed that the new title would be action oriented, something which should come as no surprise to fans of Treasure's previous work.

Though we don't know much more beyond that, we're willing to wager the game will be tough, frantic, and feature enormous boss battles.
