Ever get the feeling that those Link amiibo were a bit... naff? Well, toon link was okay but adult Link... Poor adult Link.

Well, some small justice is about to be done as new versions of each of them are set to launch this Christmas, along with an 8-bit Link and toon Zelda.

New adult Link is riffing on his Ocarina, while the new toon Link is showing off his famous conductor's baton.

But 8-bit Link really steals the show here. If you don't have an intense craving to have that amiibo in your hands right now, then you probably have no soul. Sorry.

The original Zelda amiibo was great, and so is the new one. It's nice to see toon Zelda make an appearance though we would have been equally pleased to have seen Tetra.

Anyway, enough of this chatter. You guys want to hear the facts, and those are that the amiibo will have standard functions for each character and will work in the upcoming Wii U (and probably NX) title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Save up those pennies or beg Santa Claus, for all four amiibo are set to launch this Christmas.
