Sega announces Sonic Boom for 3DS in November and outlines how it differs from the Wii U version

Sega has confirmed that Sonic Boom will be heading to 3DS in the UK this November.
It will also be heading to Wii U in November. So, to differentiate one from the other, Sega has given each of them a unique subtitle.
The 3DS version will be known as Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal. The Wii U version, meanwhile, has been renamed Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.
Their respective names aren't the only differences between these two versions, mind.
"While the Wii U game is focused on action-adventure and exploration, Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal will place a bigger emphasis on platforming and puzzles," Sega revealed.
"Additionally, unique collectibles featured in the Nintendo 3DS version will unlock special content on the Wii U via local communication."
Sega announced Sonic Boom back in February. It was revealed that the game would serve as a prequel to an upcoming TV show of the same name.
