The crazy crossover Project X Zone will come to North America, Europe, and Australia this summer

Product: Project X Zone
Genre: Fighting, RPG
Back when we first heard about the ambitious crossover Project X Zone we were sure of two things: it was a strategy RPG, and it looked incredibly fast-paced, frenetic and colourful.
We were also pretty sure that the sheer number of franchises involved - 29, split between Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Sega - would make an international release a licensing nightmare.
Thankfully, the nightmare was avoided and Namco Bandai announced that the Project X Zone would make its way to North America, Europe, and Australia this summer.
X-actly the zone we hoped for
In Project X Zone, players must explore the game's world and grid-based combat system by taking control of a team of characters known as a Pair Unit
Some Pair Units feature crossover teams like Chun-Li (StreetFighter) and Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers), while others feature characters from the same game like Mega Man Xand Zero.
If battles prove too tough for two, players can enlist freelance Solo Units from games like Tekken, Devil May Cry, Ghosts'n Goblins, and Valkyria Chronicles III (among many other titles) to help give their team an edge.
Although the localization of Project X Zone is quite impressive, the game does have one caveat worth mentioning: Destructoid reports that there will be no English voice acting. Instead, subtitles will be displayed alongside the original Japanese voiceover.
We'll let you know if this should change between now and when firm release dates are announced.
