A game breaking glitch hits Pokemon Sun/Pokemon Moon players - but only the ones that cheat

It looks like some people are having problems already in Pokemon Sun and Moon as tales of a game-breaking glitch have emerged. After all of your hard work, what's worse than having your glorious game file unceremoniously corrupted?

Amongst the Pokemon community words of warning were flying like old wives' tales and the Pokemon centre turned into a place of fear and concern. "If you venture into the Pokemon centre late at night and say 'bloody Pikachu' three times, a Pikachu will appear and screw up your save file!" *screams*

Okay, no, it's not like that. Basically if you try and save inside the Pokemon centre the second screen of your 3DS is unresponsive and your avatar disappears, forcing you to do the old restart-a-roo.

What we didn't know is that the poor folks this is happening to are utilising PKHeX – a save editing program which lets you get better monsters (by cheating). After the creator of the program called users out on it, it looks like the glitch will be totally fixable by reverting back and going vanilla.

Sorry chaps, the honest life is hard.
