Kyogre and Groudon are the Legendary Pokemon of the month

The Pokemon Company is continuing its year of Legendary Pokemon, bringing a new pair of super powerful Pokemon to Pokemon Sun and Moon (and their Ultra variations). This month we’re celebrating Kyogre and Groudon, the legendary monsters of the Hoenn region in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

Kyogre will be an exclusive to Sun and Ultra Sun, while Groudon will only be available in Moon and Ultra Moon (unless you trade with a friend, of course). As usual, the Pokemon have special move sets depending on the version of the game you’re playing. The official Pokemon website has all of the necessary details. To receive a Kyogre or Groudon, you’ll have to pay a visit to your local GAME shop and get a code, which you can then use in the game’s Mystery Gift feature to receive your Pokemon. If you’re in the US, you can get a code from a participating GameStop store. Kyogre and Groudon will be available until August 25.
