Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire news! There's some news about Pokémon! I don't understand a word of it, but I'm pretty sure it is news. News! Probably!
If you buy the game close to its release on November 28th in Europe, you'll get a special Shiny Beldum holding a Metagrossite Mega Stone. Wow, imagine that.
Your Shiny Beldum will evolve into a Shiny Metang, then a Shiny Metagross. Then you can use the power of the Mega Stone to turn it into Shiny Mega Metagross. So that's good. I'm guessing.
Other Pokémon you'll be able to make Mega include Mega Altaria, Mega Salamence, and Mega Lopunny.
On top of that Nintendo has also announced that the Horde Encounter feature will be making a return. They're not limited to wild Pokémon either anymore. Up to five other trainers can pop-up and wang Pokéballs at your face at the same time.
And if that wasn't enough there's also the Pokémon Contest Spectacular. This in in the Hoenn region and lets you show off your Pokémon in one of five different disciplines - Coolness, Beauty, Cuteness, Cleverness, and Toughness.
Win the contest and you'll bag a cosplay Pikachu that can learn and use moves a normal Pikachu can't. Rock star Pikachu can Meteor Mash. Pikachu Libre can use Flying Press.
Anyway, I think most of this is explained in the trailer in the middle of the article. Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will hit the 3DS family on November 28th.
