Every week, Pocket Gamer provides a weekly digest of the most important and popular stories from these digital pages.

Whoops, we forgot to do a round-up last week. I was in Spain, everyone else was lazy, it was a disaster. Sorry!

But anyway. There was a smattering of new mobile games this week, which we rounded up in our list of the best iOS games of the week, and the must-buy Android games of the last seven days.

We've been doing an Advent Calendar where we recommend free games like God of Light, Quadropus Rampage, Obslashin', Jupiter Jump, and Deep Loot.

November is over, you guys, so we decided to list the best iOS and Android games of the month. Lots of great game recommendations in there.

Freddy's

We asked Jon to pick the best first-person shooters on Android. Let's just say that he gave it his best shot. LOL! Bants! And we somehow talked Alysia into playing Five Nights at Freddy's 2 again so she could share some tips.

We're still playing Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. This week, we figured out how to transfer critters from X & Y, explained what EV training is all about, and asked what's the difference between the two versions?

We held our last Big Indie Pitch of the year, so you won't have to hear us talk about speed-dating with indie developers (OMG! Collusion! Corruption! Call Adam Baldwin!) for a while. Here are the winners, and some other standout games.

Peggle Blast

PG critics reviewed weird 3DS mash-up Persona Q, epic episodic adventure Game of Thrones on iOS, the disastrous Peggle Blast, and the disappointing Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.

Next week you'll be playing Scrolls on Android, Xeodrifter on 3DS, Hearthstone's Goblins vs Gnomes expansion, and Victorian adventure Bertram Fiddle

Around Steel Media

Casual games dominated the week at 148Apps, with Bruce Lee: Enter the Game, Earn to Die 2 and Peggle Blast leading the way. Plus, we investigated the weird world of Angry Birds merchandise. See it all here.
