As part of the Pocket Gamer 10th anniversary fun we've blackmailed former PG members into giving us a quick rundown of their favourite ten games of the past ten years. (We've also asked them to relive their PG moments, Caspar included.)

They've not been asked to rank these so don't take the order below as set in stone. Rather, think of these games as a collection of digital experiences that will enrich your life.

Or perhaps look through the list and mock their choices.

Create your own list

If you do disagree, here's the magic bit: you can give us your list.

See the 'Create your own Top List' button at the bottom of the article? It's not a trick.

You'll need to be registered with PG (and logged in) if you aren't yet.

Click on that button and the rest should prove relatively straightforward.

(You can also create lists from within your Pocket Gamer user profile, at the bottom of the 'Logged in as [x]' dropdown menu.)

You can list your all-time favourite portable games, your favourite endless runners, shooters, candy-covered-pony-featuring titles, or even your favourite game making studios.

We all love lists. Share your thoughts and you can soon see your selection on the PG site.

What's all this, then?

The Pocket Gamer 10th anniversary is a month-long celebration of the last decade of mobile games running March 10th - April 10th and featuring a stream of retrospective articles and fun stuff, supported by our friends at Gram Games, Gamevil, JoyCity, Rovio, Nordeus, and Ninja Kiwi. Head over to the PG 10th anniversary homepage for more information.

#1 Clash of Clans

Product: Clash of ClansFormats: Android, iPhone, iPadDeveloper: SupercellGenres: Strategy, Tower defence

Clash of Clans
Somehow has kept me interested for over two years despite ridiculous upgrade times. I'm neeeeeearly at 3200 trophies, at which point I'll quit. Honest.

#2 Fire Emblem: Awakening

Product: Fire Emblem: AwakeningFormats: 3DSDeveloper: Intelligent SystemsGenres: RPG

Fire Emblem: Awakening
Was just beautifully balanced and had a great storyline. Put over 100 hours into that sucker.

#3 Infinity Blade

Product: Infinity BladeFormats: iPhone, iPadDeveloper: Chair EntertainmentPublisher: Epic GamesGenres: Action, RPG

Infinity Blade
For redefining what you could expect from a phone game, even if it was just Super Punch Out on steroids.

#4 Threes!

Product: Threes!Formats: Android, iPhone, iPadPublisher: Asher VollmerGenres: Puzzle

As it's rare to see the birth of a new puzzle game paradigm (but cheap rip-off, 2048, can go jump off a cliff).

#5 Game Dev Story

Product: Game Dev StoryFormats: Android, iPhoneDeveloper: KairosoftPublisher: KairosoftGenres: Simulation

Game Dev Story
Because game development really is actually a little bit like it!

#6 Angry Birds

Product: Angry BirdsFormats: Android, Blackberry, Ovi, PSP, Windows PhoneDeveloper: RovioGenres: Casual

Angry Birds
For giving my son an easy first step into gaming. He's completed all of them now, I think.

#7 Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon

Product: Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark MoonFormats: 3DSPublisher: NintendoGenres: Action

Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon
Because it's just so damned cute - like playing a little animated movie.

#8 Plants vs Zombies HD

Product: Plants vs Zombies HDFormats: iPadDeveloper: In-housePublisher: PopCap GamesGenres: Strategy, Tower defence

Plants vs Zombies HD
Although this frantic puzzler was originally a PC game, on the iPad it seemed to find the perfect home. Curse EA for turning the sequel free-to-play and ruining the gameplay balance in the process.

#9 Ridiculous Fishing

Product: Ridiculous FishingFormats: iPhone, iPadDeveloper: aeiowuPublisher: VlambeerGenres: Action, Arcade

Ridiculous Fishing
Which had people staring at my on the bus as I manically battled to blast away dozens of fish.

#10 Spaceteam

Product: SpaceteamFormats: Android, iPhone, iPadDeveloper: Sleeping Beast GamesPublisher: Sleeping Beast GamesGenres: Multiplayer

which I haven't actually played that much but its multiplayer design is a fascinating gameplay experience. Also quite embarrassing and funny to play (loudly) on the train.
