Nintendo just upgraded its Virtual Console with the addition of another platform: the Super Nintendo Entertainment System or Super NES.

Home of some great titles like F-Zero or Super Mario Kart, it had a good run. Sadly though, this is only for the New 3DS, Nintendo's latest revision to its popular system.

Starting today, you can get Earthbound (€9.99) and Super Mario World (€7.99).

Next week will see the release of The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past and Super Metroid.

On March 17 F-Zero and Super Mario Kart will join the platform and finally, on March 24th, Donkey Kong Country 1 & 2 will be available for purchase.

It's a bit pricey but I'm sure the nostalgia effect will appeal to a lot of Nintendo fans.
