Nintendo rounded out its announcement of new eShop games with a bit of a bang today as it was casually announced that Level-5 would launch three new downloadable titles for the 3DS.

These three eShop titles represent a remarkable new collaborative program between Level 5 (of Professor Layton fame) and some of Japan's other top game designers.

Liberation Maiden

The first of these games, Liberation Maiden will be see Level-5 collaborating with Goichi Suda 51 / Suda51 (Lollipop Chainsaw) on a top-down shoot-'em-up set a century in the future.

Players will take control of the president of New Japan who sets out on a quest to "free her country one region at a time."

Aero Porter

The second title, Aero Porter, will feature Yoot Saito (Odama) and will task players with taking control of an airport's luggage delivery machine.

While distinctly less epic than Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter captures Saito's approach to game design perfectly and challenges players to sort colour-coded luggage onto the proper conveyor belts without delaying flights.

Crimson Shroud

The final of these collaborative projects, Crimson Shroud, will add Yasumi Matsuno (Final Fantasy Tactics) to the roster to "...reimagine the tabletop RPG, and puts the power of the dice in the player's hands".

Nintendo plans to these excellent-looking games on the eShop before the holiday season.

Liberation Maiden is available as of October 4th in Europe, but there is no word on the release dates or pricing for the other two Level-5 games.

Nintendo did not release any specific North American release dates or windows for these three titles.
