During Nintendo’s E3 press conference, the publisher played a sizzle reel of famous developers extolling the virtues of the 3DS. From Metal Gear daddy Hideo Kojima to Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune, anybody who’s anybody was in this clip.

Now, Nintendo has posted the full videos online. Most interesting, perhaps, is EA’s Ryan Stradling who talks about some of the online connectivity plans for the 3DS. When discussing the future of EA Sports games on the handheld, including Madden, he says, “I want to know when my friends are online, and that’s going to give me that ability.”

“I also want to know what games they’re playing,” he says, saying the 3DS will have “real time updates”, much like Xbox Live. He’ll also be seeing sports scores on the device and, perhaps most interestingly, "exchanging achievements".

The idea of system-wide, intangible accomplishments has hit gaming like a rash. Everything from Xbox Live to World of Warcraft, and from FourSquare to iPhone’s OpenFeint has badges and trophies and achievements to collect. 3DS might be the next hot gadget to get these virtual back-patters.

You can watch the full clip over at Nintendo’s E3 Network.
