New Super Mario Bros. 2 DLC is out, and there's even more on the way

As expected, Nintendo has just released three DLC packs for New Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan. Slightly unexpectedly, though, they're all available for download here in the UK, too.

Downloadable via the Nintendo eShop as of right now, The Gold Rush Pack, Coin Challenge Pack A, and Nerve-Wrack Pack will set you back £2 each (remember to grab them from inside the game, rather than directly from the eShop).

In each of the three content packs, you are challenged to collect as many coins as possible in a set time limit, and invited to compete with other players around the world. You'll even be able to check your progress via the official New Super Mario Bros 2. website.

You can also grab the Three-Pack Bundle, which unsurprisingly contains all three downloads, for £6. This will save you a grand total of £0. That's our Nintendo - always offering us massive bargains.

Grab the loot

However, the New Super Mario Bros. 2 DLC story doesn't end there, for there are even more packs on the way. At the end of October, a second pack will become available. And then at the end of November, you'll be able to grab yet another pack.

Details about exactly what these extra packs will contain haven't been divulged yet, but we'd suggest you should expect more of the same.

In the meantime, go grab the first pack from the eShop - it's Go! Go! time.
