Moco Moco Friends is basically a cuter version of Pokemon, heading west on 3DS

You might think that monster-catching RPGs don't get much cuter than Pokémon. But you'd be wrong. Wait until you see Moco Moco Friends.

Aksys has announced that it's localizing the game for the west with it arriving on 3DS on November 17th.

Instead of Pokémon, the monsters you catch are called Moppets (see? It's already cuter) and your task is to become the Moppet Master by catching, training, and evolving them.

But it's not all monster catching and training. You can also grow plants in your Garden and they'll continue to grow even if you not playing.

You can also get quests to complete from the people scattered around the town. You just need to walk up with them and have a conversation.

Altogether, Moco Moco Friends has 120 different Moppets around the land of Dreamtopia. Check some of them out in the screenshots above - they're adorable.
