Game Boy classic, Kirby’s Pinball Land has been given an age rating by the Australian classification board, meaning the game will be pinging its way onto the eShop at some point in the near future.

Widely regarded as a classic hybrid game, Kirby’s Pinball Land takes everyone’s favourite pink (or, in this case, monochrome) platforming character and transplates him into an arcade pinball game.

Rather than just create pinball tables around themes from the series, Pinball Land splits each table into three screens, with a boss (such as the evil tree and King Dedede) standing in your way of progression on the upper-most part of a table.

The fact that it’s been classified means it’ll be winging its way over to the system a little later this year, although currently an exact date remains elusive. We’ll let you know when we see it pop up on the eShop schedule.
