Newly released Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] screenshots highlight two new game worlds
The franchise goes francophonic
Square Enix has released a new batch of screenshots for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] showcasing two of the new game worlds to make their debut in the upcoming 3DS title.
The first world - La Cité des Cloches (The City of Bells) - represents the 1996 Disney film The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This world features Quasimodo, Esmeralda, Phoebus, and the three gargoyles as allies with Judge Claude Frollo serving as the villain.
While Hunchback was never one of Disney’s more popular animated films, its rich atmosphere and characters lend themselves quite naturally to the Kingdom Hearts universe.
From France to… FranceBased on the 2004 release of Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers, the second world teased in the screenshots is The Country of the Musketeers. This is the first Kingdom Hearts game world to be based on a direct-to-video release and features Princess Minnie along with Musketeer Pete and the Beagle Boys.
Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be available in Europe on July 20th and in North America on July 31st.
