Kid Icarus NES coming to 3D Classics, with Nintendo promising to make more 3D Classics available in 2012

Up to this point, the 3D Classics section of the Nintendo 3DS store has been left looking a little bare.
And when the 3D Classics shelves have seen stocked up, the games haven't exactly been of the incredible or mind-blowing variety.
Today, though, Nintendo said that is it looking to bolster its efforts where 3D Classics are concerned, including releasing the original NES version of Kid Icarus in 2012.
We'll believe it when we see it, but getting Kid Icarus on the 3D Classics service is definitely a step in the right direction, and should complement the launch of Kid Icarus: Uprising rather well.
