Check out Skull Kid and Phantom Ganon tearing it up in Hyrule Warriors Legends

The upcoming Zelda-themed hack-'n'-slasher Hyrule Warriors Legends looks better every time we see it.

Last time we saw Toon Link added to the character roster. Now we have Skull Kid and new villain Phantom Ganon to have a gander at.

These screenshots come courtesy of Famitsu who also share some more details on the game.

The mischievious being fights with his ocarina alongside his fairy friends "Chat" and "Trail." You've got to love those huge purple storms.

This ghost-like version of the Zelda series' main villain sees him fighting with giant swords and powerful magic.

He also calls upon his servant the Helmaroc King (the giant bird) to help him out in fights.

Last but not least. The official Hyrule Warriors Legends website has revealed a new Wind Waker stage. Have a look at it below.

Hyrule Warriors Legends isn't out in the west for 3DS until 2016. Tantalizing info considering how good it looks here. We want it now.
