Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX is headed to 3DS this May

Japanese rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, announced last year at the Tokyo Game Show, is coming to the Nintendo eShop this May.

That's May 26th in North America and May 29th in Europe.

Project Mirai DX is an enhanced version of the original, known as Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2, which was released in Japan in 2013.

Hatsune Miku, the popular voice synthesizer character, of course stars in Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX.

The game features 48 songs, several costumes and customization options, and both button and touch-based control schemes.

Last year's Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f on the PlayStation Vita scored a Gold Award from us, with our review calling it "crisp, bright, and immensely enjoyable."
