Arty platformer Gunman Clive strolled onto iOS and Android earlier this year, and promptly walked off with a Silver Award pinned to its sleeveless suede vest.

For a brief period back in April, in fact, we all took to dressing up as cowboys, upturning tables, and shouting "bang, bang" in dramatic tones. Well, I did, anyway.

Nintendo 3DS owners will soon be able to recreate my / our office Wild West antics, for Bertil Hörberg's homage to classic action-platformers is heading to Nintendo's newest handheld soon.

In Gunman Clive, your only friend is a pistol. There are baddies to shoot, circular saws to leap over, and pretty much everything else you need to feel like Clint Eastwood at the height of his on-screen powers.

Although Hörberg still hasn't confirmed the release date for his new 3DS eShop title, he did explain to NotEnoughShaders that the minimum price for an eShop game is €2, and that he plans to price his game as close to that as possible (in line with the price of the smartphone version).

We'll bring you confirmation of a release date when we know it.
