April showers bring May flowers, and Gardening Mama 2, to the US

Majesco's confirmed that Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends is on its way to the 3DS in North America this April.

The springtime sequel to the 2009 DS Gardening Mama - which later came to iOS - Forest Friends takes Mama out of her kitchen and places her in the backyard with her hoe and helpful attitude in tow.

Unlike the fast and frenetic world of Cooking Mama, Forest Friends tasks players with growing flowers, fruits, and vegetables which they can deliver to animal friends in their woodland shops.

Basically, thinking Cooking Mama meets Animal Crossing - minus the bells and home loans - and you'll have a good idea of what to expect here.

In the course of your backyard adventures in Forest Friends, you'll have the option to customise your garden with decorative fences, fountains, playground equipment, and pets.

But it's not all fun in the sun - you'll also need to roll up your sleeves and get down to organizing, mowing, watering, and harvesting when the time's right if you want your garden to reach its full potential.

We don't have a specific release date for Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends just yet, and there isn't any info on a European release date, but we'll keep you updated when either of these become available.
