[Update] Kickstarter campaign for cute rodent action-RPG Flying Hamster II will go live on April 4th
Updated on April 4th 2014, at 13:33: As expected, The Game Atelier has just launched its Kickstarter project for Flying Hamster II.

If you're quick enough to back it, you can get the digital download of the game (when it's finished) for the discounted price of $12 (down from the $15 full price).

Original story follows...

The adorable rodent star of The Game Atelier's Silver Award-winning Flying Hamster will make a return in a Kickstarter campaign for Flying Hamster II next week.

How can you resist those cute blue eyes?

The Game Atelier's plan is to crowdsource ideas and feedback from its Kickstarter backers to help design Flying Hamster II.

This means that many of the details of Flying Hamster II are up in the air. If funded, though, it will certainly be heading to PC.

You can get an idea of the franchise's new look in the video below.

If the stretch goals are reached, however, Flying Hamster II could also be soaring onto Vita, 3DS, Xbox One, Wii U, and PS4. Whether it has local two player co-op depends on the funding, too.

Sadly, this does mean that Flying Hamster II won't be heading to mobile (unlike the original game).

For those of you who own consoles or PCs, however, you'll be able to throw your money at Flying Hamster II on Kickstarter from April 4th. The game is expected to be finished in mid-2015.
