Due to the success it has found on Wii U and PC, Elliot Quest will be making its way to PS Vita and 3DS in 2016 (as well as PS4 and Xbox One) courtesy of PlayEveryWare.
It's a 2D action-platformer that its solo creator Ansimuz Games describes as a spiritual successor to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
Scoff at that if you wish but it's sold well and been received well by critics. Plus, it has the pixel art to match.
In the game, you play as Elliot as he traverses the dangerous Urele island in search of an ancient demon that is consuming his vitality.
It's full of secrets and treasure to find across the five main dungeons. There are also 16 bosses to defeat, which can be made easier by upgrading Elliot's skills and magic.
