The end of summer is a time that many of us dread, as carefree days in the sun are cut short by falling temperatures and the start of a new school year.

Luckily for North American 3DS owners, Atlus is looking to take the sting out of the summer's end with a sale on three of its eShop titles.

Beginning today, August 19, Atlus is dropping the price on the digital versions of the following three games:

  • Code of Princess - $19.99 (originally $29.99)
  • Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers - $29.99 (originally $39.99)
  • Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan - $29.99 (originally $39.99)

Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers earned a Silver Award for being "an absolutely glorious RPG romp" while Etrian Odyssey IV secured a Bronze Award for its hardcore focus.

Code of Princess walked away from its review without a medal around its neck, but we found it to be "a real looker" despite its shaky framerate and interesting wardrobe choices.

If you want to download any of these games on the cheap, you'll need to act quickly - Atlus notes that the sale ends on August 31.

Incidentally, August 31 is also the last day that you can take advantage of the $30 Shin Megami Tensei IV / Fire Emblem: Awakening cross-promotion.
