Capcom Senior VP eager to release Ace Attorney collection for 3DS

Let the record show that we hope this happens

Capcom Senior VP eager to release Ace Attorney collection for 3DS

2012 was a rough year for Ace Attorney fans.

After learning that the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD was delayed for iOS and Android, these fans were likely to despair.

And who could blame them? A mobile, HD port of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations sounds pretty incredible.

As we continue to wait for this collection to arrive, there's another hypothetical Ace Attorney collection being talked about - for the 3DS.

Objection! Badgering the fanbase

Siliconera reports that fans probably shouldn't get too excited about the prospects of an Ace Attorney 3DS collection actually making it to retail, however.

Capcom USA's Senior Vice President Christian Svensson responded to a forum user who asked if a 3DS collection of Ace Attorney games would be possible.

Svensson's reply, while candid, is hardly encouraging: "I have proposed this many times over the past two years... no news yet though :'( Hang in there."

So while it's not a firm "no", it seems that fans eager to relieve the days of Phoenix Wright's earlier cases should wait for the Ace Attorney Trilogy HD to make its way to the App Store and Google Play later this year.
