100% Crazy Toons

Going loony for the 'toons

100% Crazy Toons

At one time, cartoons made ideal conversion to video games since it was all within the realm of kids. Young ‘uns watched cartoons, they played games, and when they saw their favourite ‘toon on the shelves at the game shop, that’s where their pocket money went.

But those game playing kids grew up - into us. And we still play games, though our mature lifestyles and forced responsibilities mean we often look for a more serious or intense gaming session these days.

You’d think that gaming would have been passed along to the next generation, though that really doesn’t seem to be the case. Perhaps because cartoons weren't either. A good proportion of the most popular cartoons on TV now are aimed at the grown ups.

The Simpsons, South Park and Batman specifically cater for the 30-something generation (a personal favourite being Aqua Teen Hunger Force, though Meatwad and pals tend to polarise audiences a bit), and most of us are juvenile enough to glean a great deal of enjoyment from the likes of SpongeBob SquarePants and Inspector Gadget.

So we thought it was time to celebrate our inner child and outer juvenile, as we take a look at these 100% Crazy Toon games.

Spanner Spencer
Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
