Puzzle Craft 2 isn't that much of a step forward for the series. You're still swiping on the screen to create chains of resources. Once they're collected you can use them to build up your settlement.
This time you're setting up a series of villages across an island, adding workers and buildings to increase your stuff-collecting prowess.
It stills sits firmly on the casual side of the divide, and the simple mechanics and obvious progress are going to appeal to anyone who prefers not to think too much about what they're doing or why they're doing it.
Fans of the original will likely play this new edition with a smile on their face, but if you're looking for a puzzler with a bit more bite there's nothing here that's going to shepherd you into the Puzzle Craft fold.
