Puzzle Blox Arcade out soon on Android
New version of award-nominated puzzler won’t cost a penny
Created by lone developer André Rabold, Puzzle Blox is a neat twist on the match-three puzzler template, requiring you to physically tilt the handset to adjust the position of the blocks.
In fact, the twist is so neat that the game was nominated as one of the top five Android puzzle games at the Android Network Awards 2009.
Andre has contacted us to let us know that a major update is on the way this Saturday. No, it’s not a novelty Halloween skin. In fact, it’s a whole new version of the game that will be available for free.
Puzzle Blox Arcade is being touted as an all-new game that features the brand new unlimited Arcade play mode. It also features over a dozen levels from the original Puzzle Blox game.
In addition to this, owners of the original Puzzle Blox will receive a nice little bonus. The update will include, “two new play modes Arcade and Challenge, new graphics, new themes, new sound effects, more levels and more fun.”
Puzzle Blox is available now on the Android Marketplace for EUR 2.95. Here’s a video of the game in action.
