PUBG Mobile reveals upcoming collaboration with fast food giant KFC

Legendary mobile third-person shooter battle royale PUBG MOBILE has revealed plans to soon begin a collaborative effort with fast food giant KFC. Yes, you read that correctly. Everyone’s favourite chicken fast food joint will soon be findable within each of PUBG MOBILE’s maps, where players can check out a virtual realization of the very same stores you find on nearly every street corner.

Needless to say, this is a rather out-of-left-field collaboration, but it’s one that makes a good bit of sense given PUBG’s classic chicken dinner tagline for winning a match. As for what this event will include, well, there’s actually quite a lot for what many might assume is just a silly little marketing stunt - which, you know, it certainly is, but at least there’s an abundance of content to be found during the runtime of the event too.

From October 2nd to November 6th, players within the world of PUBG MOBILE will be able to find fully completed recreations of KFC restaurants across each of the maps within the game, where you can then actually indulge in actual meals sold by the real-world restaurants. These meals offer up a variety of boosts and health regen, so yes, there is actual gameplay importance to grabbing yourself a good ol’ bucket of KFC chicken and using it to help you destroy your foes. What a world, huh?

Alongside this, there will also be a variety of cosmetic items to grab from the in-game store, ranging from a full Colonel Sanders costume to a chicken outfit and more. On top of all of that, you can even visit real-world KFC restaurants and claim in-game rewards when you order meals from them as well. This applies to select stores, of course, but for you PUBG heads out there, it might be worth making a trip to grab yourself a 3-piece if you’re looking to grab some exclusive rewards.
