Atlus announces Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth limited edition

Atlus has announced a special first run and a premium edition of its upcoming mash-up dungeon crawler Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.

While neither, unfortunately, includes the highly-prized limited edition 3DS XL released in Japan, they both might tempt fans of the Persona series to pre-order early.

First up is, fitting, the pre-order / first run edition, which includes a copy of the game (yay!), 11 of the iconic tarot cards used as evokers in Persona 4 along with a special, limited package.

The tarot cards in question are Arcanas XI - XXI, with the other half of the set releasing alongside Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

Now, for the real temptation.

The "Wild Cards" premium edition comes with all the goodies pictured above, namely

  • Tarot Cards XI - XXI
  • An art booklet
  • A mini-soundtrack CD with highlights from the OST
  • A deluxe 3DS XL hard case, previously only available in Japan.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is due out this fall and mixing the art, exploration, and playstyle of Etrian Odyssey with the chibi-fied cast of Persona 3 and Persona 4.

We don't have prices for either the Wild Cards premium edition or the first run set, but we'll be sure to pester Atlus for them when we stop by their booth at E3 this week.

Until then, enjoy the teaser video below.
